I won NaNoWriMo! Actually, both me and my husband won NaNo this year. I guess the old adage about asking someone busy if you need something done is true. I mostly wrote my novel during the times when I would get up to pump breastmilk, and any free time I had (which was not much) would be spent in writing large chunks. There were about three or four days where I wrote 5,000 words, and even one in which I wrote 10,000! My husband has me beat in most words written in one sitting, though--at the very end of NaNo, he sat down with roughly 22,000 words written and didn't sleep until he had hit 50,000.
