At the various requests of friends and family, I've decided to go ahead and upload a larger version of this picture. No stealing please! :) It's got an invisible watermark, so it wouldn't do you much good anyway. ;)

For those of you who are interested, I went for my first scan today and everything looks great! I posted the picture here: [link] I'm also somehow measuring at 13 weeks now, despite the fact that it's been less than a month. Looks like we got the dates wrong. ;)

Tomorrow I will be eight weeks pregnant. :)

Erich and I are . . . I suppose "hesitantly thrilled" is a good way of putting it. :) I have been such a whirl of emotions that I've been unsure as to whether I should share my news. There is still a month to go until the first trimester finishes, and we will be keeping our fingers crossed until then (and beyond =p). So far everything looks good, yet I know we're still not out of the woods . . . But even if I lose the baby, I still feel blessed that there's a chance, and I wanted to celebrate that feeling. So here I am. :)

Please keep us in your thoughts.

:aww: They grow so fast! My son James is 6 now and it seems like yesterday he was a baby. They're a lot of fun at that age. Before you know it you'll be having to chase off boys from her. =D :hug:

She's fun, even when she exasperates me. I swear she's on a mission to eat every piece of lint she finds. Also, it's terrifying that she's not even nine months old and getting ready to walk. :fear: Save me!

:boogie: I like my new avatar too. :XD: It's supposed to be a vampire looking up at a heart and thinking "Tasty!" I don't think that's very clear, but it's still appealing, so I'm gonna leave it. :D

:giggle: I remember when my son was little thinking, I can't wait for him to crawl and walk. But as soon as he did I wished he'd just stay still and cuddle. ;)
Its amazing how fast they grow and develop. All I have to say is take lots and lots of pictures! =D

Yeah . . . I did the same thing with her. "I wish she wouldn't sleep so much!"

Now I just want her to go back to sleeping most of the time. :lmao:

That's probably just because she's so mobile so early though. :lol:
