Trying something a little different, something slightly out of my comfort zone. I'm out of inspiration for fractals at the moment. :XD:

This is pretty cool, good that you kept the colors subtle, too much pink would hurt my eyes ;). When I look at this picture I get a feeling that it's too much, there are these flower things, circuitboard lines, symbol-like text and the tree that all becomes some of a mess in the middle. Maybe if the tree was larger and not transparent it would be better.. I dunno :P. Still not at all a bad picture, I actually kind of like it :)

Oooh, very haunting :o I really like the placement of a dead-looking tree in the middle of a rather disturbingly-toned pink, it gives a feeling of uneasiness upon viewing a surreal horizon. Great job, I love this! :heart:

It does looks like a cool background. Only suggestion I have is move the tree to the front of everything since it seems to be the focal point.

Thanks very much for taking time out to concrit, it really means a lot. With the mess in the middle, I was going for a "fog" look, I guess it needs to be a bit less bright? I tried darkening the tree and it did seem to help a bit. I've reposted in case you're interested in having another look.

I've darkened the tree, but I'm thinking it's probably not enough . . . unfortunately when I saved the psd I forgot to unmerge the layers, so it seems to be the only thing I can do aside from reworking the whole thing over again. :laughing: I'll try harder next time!

It's better now, more focus on the tree. The problem I see now is that it gets a bit sharp in the edges, maybe soften it a bit, and seriously, I think you should remove that text thing. That would make the picture alot better I believe.
